This year, Jessica decided to start the kids out with a great class on how to make stamps. She showed two different styles of stamps: one that does an imprint from a raised design, and one that is cut away like an etching that leaves the negative space. Of course, you can imagine what the kids wanted to make: BOATS. Biiiiig surprise there. Jessica called out, "Kids, you are only allowed TWO boats all year, so if you make both stamps boats, then that will be it!"

So then they all turned from boats, to an initialing kick.

Except the girls, who wanted hearts and flowers! How rare and girly for our school!

There were no hearts and flowers at this table.
