Every Monday we do a half hour of sketching. We've been working on things like blind contour drawings, upside down drawings, and proportional facial drawings. The day was so gorgeous that we took our sketchbooks outside and tried our hand at drawing the playground tower. This is a really difficult structure to attempt and I was so pleased with everyone's focus and perserverence! Here are a few examples.
