It's that time again, ladies and germs! Woo hoo! Unpack those skates and get ready for some fun...hockey season has begun.
Notice we're wearing boots. This is because...well.... why don't you try putting skates on 12 kids. By the time we'd be tied up, PE would be over. It's bad enough with the helmets, elbow and shin guards!
But, I think, in all honesty, that just sliding on our shin pads is nearly as fun as the game itself.
Teressa was wearing a dress. As she skated/ ran for the puck, Brody said, "That's not something you see every day. A skirt on the ice."
Huddling up for the "remember the rules from last year?" speech. And look at that ice. Just a little bumpy...not bad since it gave us some traction with our boots. We had a blast and then after school a bunch of folks met down at the pond for real skating. And the next day. And the next.
