Hard to believe that just last year Doug and I were tracking polar bears on our island off the coast of Alaska. Now, we pass the time searching for the elusive Frenchboro moose that swam here last fall. Several of the students have seen it, as well as a couple of the residents, but no matter how many gigantic piles of poop we find on our walks...still no moose for Mr. and Mrs. Finn!
